Journey Through Time

Red Tailed Hawk

Bill and I went to the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge today. What a gorgeous day!! A cold night gave way to some morning fog which gave way to the brightest, deepest blue winter sky. It was a day to see all the snow covered mountains and if we had been up higher, we probably could have seen Mt. Rainier. Being that it was a Sunday and the weather was awesome, Ridgefield was like a crowded freeway! Everybody wanted to take the tour, probably with their new camera. We saw several hawks and the swans put on a bit of a show, flying in perfect formation in the distance. My camera lens just isn't quite strong enough to bring those babies in to be breathtakingly pretty. Oh well. But I know now why there had to be a ballet about swans. This one looks like pax de deux times 2 plus one. The other photos are there on Flickr.

This image took 10 minutes to load. What's up with that? I seem to be having trouble with Blip....anybody else having problems?

Hope all is well. See ya later
