Winter takes hold

It started snowing early this morning and continued through the day.  I think that in the end we got about 5-6 inches.  It was really lovely watching it come down all day. All the more enjoyable knowing we didn't have to drive anywhere today.

I spent the day inside only going out to take some photos.  But I liked this one the best ~ and I didn't have to leave the house to get it!  This lovely girl was actually licking at the snow ~ getting a drink, I guess.

I finally changed over the clothes in my closet today ~ it's a sad day for me when I have to do this. It really drills home the fact that Summer is truly over. Of course, the snow falling outside is also a tip off!!
