Hiking in Georgia

Today was the first day of hiking during our a visit to Georgia. The countryside is very striking and has an alpine character.

There have been some terrific thunder storms during the nights but luckily we have avoided waking through them.

The village in the blip is where we are staying tonight. It’s very rustic. There are cows, goats and horses roaming through the streets.

Tomorrow we continue our hike and have a river to cross on horseback.
