A cold reception

The second day of our hike through the Svaneti region of Georgia involved the toughest walking so far and highest elevation.

At one point we reached a river that can only be crossed by foot or on horseback. The water was incredibly cold so I wimped out and took the horse but Chris courageously waded through. He said he could feel pieces of ice against his feet as he went through (and fell in at one point). All due respect to him!
