In flight

We left home at 8.15 to catch first a bus, then two trains and then another bus arriving finally at Mount Batten Point in Plymouth at 11.45 as planned. We are back walking the coastal path. We have excluded the section along the Plymouth sea front but will be returning to this later. Today, we walked to Noss Mayo. This week is fraught with problems. Today, we had to get to the ferry at the Yealm estuary by 4pm as the ferryman stops taking passengers then. He told us a female had rung him but said she wouldn’t be arriving until 4.30. He thought she would be nearer to 5.00 judging by where she was when she rang and refused to wait. Once over the ferry we could relax and so we spent some time watching action on the river as shown in my blip before walking on to our B and B for the night. My mother in law had keyhole bowel cancer surgery this afternoon and is back on the ward.
