Tiny Tuesday: Canadian Elk in the "Snow"

It's been a rather busy day so it had to be a quick blip. This little ornament came to the rescue - the elk itself is only 2cmx2cm, the whole ornament being 4x4 cm. My Editor bought it some time back when we had a holiday in Canada.

We're not quite sure what it's made of, most likely some sort of stone, or maybe polished glass or a hard resin, but whatever it's made of it has flakes in it which look like snow. I decided that it looked best photographed with white light from behind. I just used my laptop screen as a light source, hence the slight fine hazy lines behind the ornament.
