Two Black Swans.....

....quietly preening and enjoying having the lake to themselves. I think the male is in the foreground he was sitting higher in the water with his white feathers on show, wonder if these two are a couple?

My extra shows the male with his feathers raised higher than the female.

Wednesday.....a little shopping in the city, lunch out before mum and I did our grocery shop. Spring is trying to creep in but really it's too early. I've seen trees covered in pink blossom and today in the distance we saw white spring flowering bulbs......don't feel we've had a proper winter yet.
