Kylie is coming!

The rain battered all night so I had a rotten night's sleep. Tried to get to the pool before the shoal and almost managed but there were other diversions today. But the pool is well used and that is good.

A morning at the Castle. It was warm and humid and very busy. The stage is going up for the esplanade shows that come before the Tattoo.

Then home to do bits and bobs. The vixen came round and I tried, and failed, to track down the whereabouts of the now demolished Waverley Buildings where my grandfather lived in 1906 when he joined the Royal Scots.

The threatened storms have yet to arrive. I hope they pass us by.
