No waiting

Well there was waiting, but not at the entrance to the Outpatients' Department at Bedford Hospital today.

I was there for a follow-up appointment to check on the progress of the fluid behind part of my fovea.  I was there no longer than 30 minutes, rather than the customary 2 hours; what a result!  And thanks to the wonderful staff.

My eye is getting better, but the consultant asked me about high blood pressure, from which I gathered that it could have been a factor.  So . . . more exercise required: long walks tomorrow and the next day.  We'll be in the Stevington area west of Bedford so we do some long(ish) walks, as long as a pub figures somewhere in the process :-)
