Small successes

Daily life is full of little positives. This wildflower patch covers an area that used to be an old concrete standing, largely removed but still full of rubble. And now look at it :-) Still not many bees though, which is worrying.

An unexpected message last night led to us meeting up with friends from 30 years ago that we knew through bellringing. Amazing how little they'd changed, despite the odd grey hair!

Another (planned) catch up with blipper Bodkin saw us sitting outside in the sunshine for coffee, but the haar rolled in as I left for home and we've been like that since.

Sewing here tonight and one lady has finished her cushion - fantastic!! I hope she's pleased with it too.

Went round tidying things away tonight. More packing up tomorrow ...
