Abstract Thursday

I haven't put an entry in for Abstract Thursday for a long time, but I quite liked this close up of a dandelion seed head in mono and the abstract patterns and detail in it (best seen large). I took it on a circular walk at Cley this morning with A and H. The walk includes a short stretch on the shingle beach and I'm always surprised to see people fishing on the beach as in my Extra. 

Just about to watch Serena in the semi-finals at Wimbledon, I'd so like her to equal Margaret Court's record of grand slam singles titles, but she's very short of match practice given her knee injury this year. Halep played so well to win her semi-final and will be difficult to beat in the final.
