SATURDAY

We arrived home from Northern Ireland late yesterday evening so today was spent trying to get back to normal.

I managed to drag myself out to the Halifax Parkrun but was disappointed with my time of 25m 40s.

Waved goodbye to Harriet who headed back to Nottingham. She only manages to get three week's summer holiday from medical school and starts her next clinical placement on Monday.

Had a short walk along the canal on my way back from the shops. The blip was taken near Elland Bridge.

I also explored a new section of the canal and discovered Woodside Mills Lock (see extra). The arches alongside the canal are what remains of Woodside Flour Mill. It was a five story mill, and in 1890 was supposedly the largest flour mill in Yorkshire.
