At the airport

Flew home from Auckland.

Eventually...

Waiting waiting ... nothing happening ... waiting waiting ... all we're told is "engineering issue" (which is NOT super-reassuring)... waiting waiting waiting.

Ended up Three. Hours. Late.

So I got home the next day. We actually cut it pretty fine with Sydney Airport's curfew - beating it by only quarter of an hour.

Other pics in my Flickr, taken with iPhone, so not making pic of the day, are still worthy of mention: photos of my grandfather who died when I was about two years old. He was an airforce photographer in WWII. Caught dengue fever. Later had meningitis. Smoked. Died young.
