Can you tell the difference from yesterday's picture?  Clue: barley has spiky bits.

Another very satisfactory garden clearing day and only one trip to the recycling centre.  I'm imagining rescue chickens in the place I've cleared.  Anyone got any advice?

We seem to have suddenly stumbled upon the summer holidays.  Ben has gone to see Ellie, Sam is finishing college in 3 days time, Martin's parents will be arriving, Hendstock is happening and we'll be in Mallorca before we know it.
