Rainbow over Kip Marina

As I have been busy cooking all day for our New Year's Dinner I did not get a chance to venture out today. I did not miss much as it has been another stormy day.

From my kitchen window I noticed a break in the weather with a Rainbow appearing over Kip Marina. I quickly grabbed my camera and headed up to my bedroom to get a good vantage point.

In Norse mythology, the rainbow is the road between the worlds of gods and men. To think of a rainbow as the "bridge to the divine" is common throughout world mythology. Nice thought to end another year.
