Fallback blip

There was supposed to be a partial eclipse of the moon tonight but as it got darker the clouds gathered so I don't think we'll see anything very special.

This rather tame butterfly was warming itself in the sunshine next to the pond this afternoon.  They are rather splendid creatures quite apart from the wings.  I lay on the grass and got pretty close and was able to marvel at all the strange body parts!
