The Iron Bridge (widwed170719)

A great blipmeet today with Hildasrose (organiser) LooseCannon, Technophobe, Orchid99, me and two non blipping partners (Gill and Rob)
As ever - coffee and cake were consumed, the world was put to rights and there was even some photography! :-)

We kicked off at Blists Hill Victorian Town and then moved on ito Ironbridge to see the bridge itself.  I think it counts as a historical and architectural treasure and so fits the brief for this weeks wide Wednesday.   In the extra, one from the casting demonstration we saw at Blists Hill. To think I was taught this at school - all be it with aluminium rather than iron. There are various ways to teach safety at work, but molten metal does rather concentrate the mind and highlight the notion of risk management in a way that few other things can.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday.

We had some other good news in that our motorhome now has a buyer and we have agreed on a price, the dealer can get the remedial work done by early August so the change over should be around August 6th.  We also heard that our daughter is closing in on a moving date which also looks like being in early August :-)
