Trials and Tribulations

I know this should be in George 'n Harry's journal, but I'm desperate.

I had a phone call from the Department this morning (DEW - Dept of Environment and Water).  The ranger asked if we could open OGH 27th July, on account of the Minister and the State Premier want to visit.

Sure - no problems.  So long as I can get some volunteers to front up.  They seem to forget that we are volunteers and not paid staff.  Now, there's a thought!

Hence a very quick visit to OGH this afternoon to see what needs to be done.  I'll be up there Saturday pruning roses for a start.  I can't delay that just because some politicians want to visit.
