Mandarin ducks: iridescence & Framed
Im and I went to the Wetland Centre: it was pretty dark and drizzly for the most part, but it was lovely to see the emperor geese and nēnēs, amongst others. I arrived with the macro mounted (and got some close-ups of the tundra geese and a pretty pigeon), but then changed to the 70-200mm for a bit more flexibility, and I find it much more reliable when the light isn't fantastic.
My photographs weren't very dramatic, although I was pleased with some of my more monochromatic captures (hence the blip...), and I've also uploaded some of the more unusual catches.
Today's others are on this page (or right from Emperor goose on mound)
