Sunshine

After yesterday's rain, this morning also started off damp and windy, but by this evening we are enjoying glorious sunshine, although it is still pretty breezy.  A colleague at work was taking part in her first 80 mile long cycling sportive today, I suspect that the conditions will have been quite testing for her.

As you can see the bees love the lavender - I think that this is probably a male  garden bumblebee as it has no pollen sacks, it looks too hairy to be a cuckoo.
