Taos

A long day in the car with only a brief stop in Taos, NM for breakfast. I figured that as I missed posting an image of the famous New Mexico chiles while in Santa Fe, I should show one before we left the state. Saw this one outside a kitchen shop as we walked part of old town Taos. These collections are known as ristras and were used to dry the freshly picked chiles for use in cooking later. Now they are in integral part of the New Mexico landscape.
