Yellowhammer

After late start - well, it is Saturday - MrM spent the day in the workshop, while I worked on photos for a display. Prints ordered by mid-afternoon, in the hope that they'll arrive in time to take with us next week. A couple of big display boards on order too.

An early-evening walk up by Kettles Fort to the top of the woods, and back down via the Common. Several yellowhammers were flying around on some rough pastureland, landing occasionally on the bracken, which was swaying around wildly in the wind. This little bird (I think its a male) looked as though he was enjoying on an unpredictable fairground ride!
