The heat jumped up a notch today

If we described heat by colour, today could be described as deep orange like my cone flower.  I can't believe how hard the centre of these flowers is. How can the bees bear to settle on them?

Each day that passes will be hotter than the one before and reach a crescendo of 34-35C by Wednesday and Thursday. In Paris, 41C is expected any day now. It seems to get hotter each summer.
