Point Wilson Lighthouse

We had a fantastic time on the Tufted Puffin cruise last night.  The weather was great, very calm seas, and we saw puffins!  Even though it was calm the boat is moving up and down and I found it very challenging to get focus.  I have included three shots from last night's cruise in the Extra Photos, two tufted puffins and one guillemot.  We also saw quite a few seals, an elephant seal, a porpoise, lots of bald eagles, several deer,  and many other sea birds I couldn't identify.

On our way to the cruise last night we were startled with a loud splat!  My red car was now white, we could not even see out of the front window...a quick run through a car wash before the cruise.  We find it hard to believe it was one bird.

Today Sheryl and I went to Fort Worden State Park and walked through the Marine Science Center then walked to the light house, on the way to the light house we saw a beautiful mature bald eagle.  See Sheryl's journal to see the close up of the eagle.
