You know that moment...

The one where you are in the middle of a meeting?

Outside the day is dull and blipless

On the way to the meeting you make the effort to drive past the knarled trees which hunch over the road and would look just perfectly gritty in black and white. Oh the horror to find some over eager tree surgeon has lopped all the overhanging branches off and now they just look sad and stunted.

The meeting is going well.

Everyone is listening intently and nodding in agreement with your words of wisdom.

The sun breaks through.

A shaft of perfect sunlight hits the cactus in the corner of the room.

Doesn't it look wonderful, best use the macro setting.

Maybe if I angle the camera this way it will find a dark background to really show up the vivid green.

Then!

You realise that somehow you have managed, whilst still talking, got up from your seat, gone to the far side of the room and begin taking photographs of a potted plant.

And no-one takes a blind bit of notice!
