I decided, right, or wrong, where I was going to put "Al's Troemeria".
"The Words" said a moisture retentive soil. Not sure how retentive it is so I worked in best part of a bucketful of home compost.
During clearing, a twitch caught my eye. I looked - nuffink. I looked harder, moving things - this wee beasty.
The thing is it can NOT get from the pond, at the back, to where it was, in the front, without  a 100' or so journey, most of which over concrete or brick paving. Good luck to him/her say I.
What say you?
Just returned to add - I measured that finger - about 5/8" or 15mm across.
