Rainy day, Dunbeg

I was in Oban today for an advice surgery and various meetings and the rain didn't let up all the time I was there.   By the end of the afternoon we had had about 40mm of rain in Glendaruel in 24 hours, but then the sun came out and now it is quite warm , though very humid.

One of my meetings  was at SAMs out at Dunstaffnage and driving back into  Dunbeg afterwards I was struck by the intense activity on the next stage of new housing for the village.

Argyll & Bute is suffering worrying levels of depopulation but one or two areas are still growing, and this is probably where the biggest demand is.

Even on such a grey day work was continuing apace.
