Feather

I had forgotten about this small feather until I found it when I was cleaning my car out this morning, in preparation for our trip to Uist later in the week.

I picked it up from the ground in Kames three weeks ago , outside the hotel where I had just been having a cup of coffee with Roseanna Cunningham  after her visit to the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way. 

The bright blue was what caught my eye and I meant to find out what type of bird it came from.   

Looking on line today  I think it is probably a jay.
