Bee on veronica

have a new veronica plant that's waiting to be planted out. The bees seem to love it and as its currently in a pot at the end of the grass it gives a lovely plain green backdrop to my photos. Going to have to move it soon though. 
Playing around again with the compact . I hadn't realised it could take macro shots (my last fuji compact had a macro setting and this one doesn't) but discovered it can focus to around 10 cm. Its only got a fixed 23mm lens however so doesn't quite match my macro lens on the SLR although I like that it gives a slightly soft effect (likely due to my dodgy focusing).
