Day 4 Beach wildlife

Well, another fantastic day. We were in no rush to leave the super cosy Glenartney B&B in Brodick. First of all we went to the Arran heritage centre. I was keen to find more about the clearances on the island.
We then went to Brodick castle and gardens, which was really interesting. The day was more of a rest day, but did include 20km of cycling, plus 250m of ascent. Stopped and did a quick Arran distillery tour, which was great.
Lochranza was beautiful, the weather glorious, we stayed at the youth hostel, which was super. Dinner was Fish&Chips at the pub. Went for a wonder around castle at sunset, where 3 rather friendly deer walked over the seaweed and started grazing really close. Oh yes, maximum speed 46.8kmph, we won’t discuss the hill climb speed!
