Day 5 Lochranza Ro Port Ellen

Today we left Lochranza YH, and cycled around the other side of the inlet, what a lovely surprise to find 6 seals relaxing on the rocks. We cycled a little way down the West coast of Arran, then got the ferry to Claonaig. It was a different world on the other side, low very chilly fog. My chain came off and completely jammed. Half an hour later, and a fair amount of swearing later, we were off again.
Cycled through to Tarbert, a cute fishing village, which maybe has seen better days, but still a nice place with the marina.
We took the ferry to Islay, a lovely relaxed crossing, arriving at Port Ellen in time for dinner at Islay Hotel.
