It's Still Brill

So we begin year two of of our blip journey.

After seemingly days of rain, the sun made an appearance this morning. Whilst Annie was busy assembling our year one blips and commentary into a lovely book, I (Chris) made the most of the sunshine and had a 6 mile run, my first since Boxing Day. I'm doing a half-marathon in March so it is time to step up the training.

For today's blip. we thought we'd return to where we began, just for one day. Windmills have occurred a few times in our first year (they are a favourite subject) and the windmill at Brill occupies a great location for photography. Looking back, it was a chilly day on the 1st January 2012 and although we had sunshine today, there was a cold wind and it was quite chilly again when the sun hid behind the clouds. It hadn't put off a fair few visitors though looking to blow away a few cobwebs I expect.

Thanks for all the views, comments and stars on the last couple of days' photos. We will get around to replying to as many as we can in the next day or so.

Annie: After repeating the windmill today I'd briefly toyed with the idea of repeating the whole year in photos day by day. Then I remembered that would mean recreating the Olympics and Paralympics in some way. Tricky.
