Railway Railings

Took the garden rubbish to the tip and a large bag to the charity shop in Ilkley.
Saw the railings as l walked back to the car and thought they would do for the challenge of Repetition, thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
Called into Rebecca ‘s with a bunch of sweet peas from the garden as it’s her and Mike sixteenth wedding anniversary today.
What a difference from today’s weather when she got married : it was torrential rain all day and all their photographs had to be taken indoors.
Luckily Rebecca hadn’t turned into a bridezilla and it was all very nice and relaxed
It was a very happy day for us all : you can see from the left: Mr P, me, Adele, Tim, Rebecca and Mike.
Drew, Adele’s daughter, was a flower girl.
Nothing else went wrong except the croque en bouche collapsed and we all laughed but that’s another story.
Seems funny to see us without any of the grandchildren who would come into our family in the ensuing years.
Not the greatest quality as it’s a photograph of a photograph and under glass.
I keep it in our bedroom.
