Globe Thistle ( and bee )

I do like Globe Thistles - and so do the bees.

A friend was splitting up his clump a few years ago and gave me 5 pieces. I now have 5 large clumps !!

I put in the extra of the sun setting taken from our bedroom window - we are expecting thunderstorms this evening and the sky was getting darker with raindrops just starting and there were distant rolls of thunder.

I suppose it is the price we pay for this hot weather and almost record temperatures - I was surprised to see 2 combines working today which seems early for Scotland.
