Fennel and Turkish glass composition

Happy New Year! I hope the new year is good to you all, fellow blippers!

I have tried to have a creative moment today - perhaps inspired by yesterday's artisan chocolate, or perhaps as a distraction from the (still) rising flood waters.

I liked the kaleidoscope effect here with the focus on my favourite food.

I love fennel, finely chopped with a light lemon dressing, or with fresh orange segments and a few thin slices of red onion on special occasions.

My desert island luxury food: fennel. What would yours be?
