Old wood

I held my breath today when we entered one of Sweden's oldest wooden church, from 1260, Tidersrum church.
(The last time I was amazed by a church was earlier this summer when we visited Petäjäveden old church in Finland.)
All the walls and the roof were filled with paintings, however, no colors are visible anymore, only black contours. The paintings were discovered by an incident when they cleaned the church properly! Amazing and beautiful church worth a visit!
