Manuka

Compact, low growing manuka features in the garden on one side of the driveway. In time they'll form a mass of spring colour. These are the first flowers to appear.

This afternoon my garden designer planted the 3 fruit trees. I helped and together we cleaned up a few jobs.

Now I'm well and the weekend promises fine weather, I'll take the opportunity to address a few things before the weather turns bleak next week.

A few plants need lifting, shaded wet soil needs sand adding to it, and there are always weeds to cull.

I'm super happy to have my nectarine, peach, and column apple trees planted. :-)

Today's gratitude: For the pleasure that my new garden gives me as it takes hold and reveals its treasures.
