Gillipaw's Journal

The sun shone, so we decided to go for a quiet walk in Pollok Park. So did most of the Southside of Glasgow. I couldn't believe how busy it was. The main drive was full of families walking in long lines, so that cyclists and runners couldn't get by.

The White Cart is quite high and fast flowing. I took this one resting the camera on the wall beside the weir, and quite like the lens flare, giving a bit of a festive feel to the shot.

Once home, and boys were up (around 4 pm!), we watched "Brave" together. It was nice to do that, as it so rarely happens now. We also finished off these treats.

For the record, we had a visit of Waxwings around 3.30 pm. Too dark to photograph them, but what a noise they make. First time I've seen any here this winter, so hope they return again.

Also, catching up with Hollywood backblips from October 2012 here.
