Neighbours

All these lovely people live close by. We got together this afternoon to celebrate our victory of a few months ago when the Inspector upheld the council's decision not to allow development of houses in the field at the bottom of the garden. We were overjoyed when we heard that news and resolved to get together to celebrate - it's taken a couple of months to find a date we could all manage!

We enjoyed a lovely BBQ with desserts and salads supplied by the closest neighbours. What we enjoyed most was meeting and talking with neighbours from a little further along the road and we have resolved to have this type of get together next year too.

Fortunately the weather turned out sunny and warm after an iffy start so we were able to sit outside.
