MI5 Reflected

A fun day in London with friend, photographer and fellow judge, Micki Aston.  We changed plans from a walk along Brick lane to an exploration of the Thames bank upriver from Westminster Bridge.  It was an area neither of us knew very well so lots of surprises and interests along the way.  We walked all the way to Battersea Power Station, currently undergoing massive redevelopment and looking like a Christmas tree with cranes sprouting everywhere!

Our return walk took us the other side of the river, back to Westminster via Tate Britain to see the Turner exhibition.  On the north side of Vauxhall Bridge there is a spectacular block of flats/offices/hotel with a delightful coffee shop too.  The curved windows of this block - partly seen in extra) gave a rather interesting reflection taking in the fortress-like MI5 building.

A fantastic day, with lots of chat and gossip along the way walking over 6 miles so we were ready for the return journey and home by late afternoon.
