Presenting a Great globe thistle or Echinops sphaerocephalus (or is that making a present from an image?) Image plus  overlay of a frame with ribbon for today's Mono Monday challenge with thanks to Carolina for hosting this past month and setting us some very interesting challenges. In the extras another image, no editing bar making it B&W, any ideas what it is, there is definitely some natural overlaying there !
