Prickly pair....

A busy Monday. A lorry in for 16 cattle for the mart at 8am. Once they were loaded and away, wee brother came on the phone needing a hand to calve a heifer. Eventually got her in and calved, then headed down to St Boswells to sell the cattle . Not setting the heather on fire price wise .
Back up the road then off to Haddington to look a bale trailer . A bit of haggling and a deal was done.
Back home then off down the road to check the away from home cattle. One with mastitis will need treating tomorrow. The flies this year are an absolute nightmare. Even the thistles are covered in them tonight .
