Day 8 Islay to Colonsay

Rather a dull but calm start to the day, over the hill to Port Arkaig to catch the ferry to Colonsay. We were hoping to visit the Caol Ila distillery tour, but it’s closed for refurbishment.
It started raining as we arrived at the ferry terminal, but it was a nice ferry ride going past Ardnahoe, the new distillery and then Bunnahabhain.
Once we got to Colonsay the weather deteriorated, so got a pretty good soaking as we cycled to the Backpackers we stayed at.
We then got a really good soaking going to the hotel for dinner, and on the way back !
