Day 9 Colonsay to Oban

Still pretty wet in the morning, and we were sent out of the backpackers at 9.30 am, felt a bit like the old YHA days! We had an hour without rain, so went to the beach at the South where you can walk over to Oransay at low tide, there was a short window of opportunity so we gave it a miss. Went to look at the airport, where the sheep were keeping the runway mown.
Spent a rainy hour at the heritage centre, quite interesting, then spent a few hours at the hotel before taking the ferry to Oban at 19.00. It was dry as we arrived in Oban, very misty and warm.
