Blistering heat tempered by sea breeze today. And lots of fun settling into beach life and the greatest stress being the decision over which pastry to choose from the boulangerie. Winning.

I’ll add an extra of Zeke winning a free ride on the carousel when he successfully grabbed Mickey’s tale.... but then the little girl sat opposite him stole his prize in an act of pure treachery. She got away with it but her mum bought Zeke another ride to make up for the emotional trauma. And then poor old Zeke, seeing that it had worked for that little girl, did the exact same thing to another little girl..... only she had a big family and they all ran round the carousel enthusiastically chastising Zeke until he returned the tale looking terrified. It was difficult to keep a straight face at the level of high drama at the carousel.... all in all he swindled 4 turns though as he kept getting gifted free rides. He seemed neither angry at being robbed nor desperately upset about his own failed attempt at theft.... though a bit sheepish as he clearly knew it was uncool.
