Getting Out While The Going Is Good

This plane full of people is jetting out of Boston's Logan Airport just in the nick of time!  A severe thunderstorm warning was issued minutes before I took this picture, and half an hour later it is still storming with torrential rain.

The National Weather Service states:  "SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT UNTIL 3:45PM EDT WED ...STRONG THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING... AT 319 PM EDT, DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER DOVER, OR NEAR NATICK, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. PEA SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY THIS STORM. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... BOSTON, CAMBRIDGE, QUINCY, NEWTON, SOMERVILLE, FRAMINGHAM, WALTHAM, MALDEN, BROOKLINE, MEDFORD, WEYMOUTH, REVERE, ARLINGTON, EVERETT, BRAINTREE, CHELSEA, NATICK, RANDOLPH, WATERTOWN AND NEEDHAM. THIS STORM MAY INTENSIFY AND BECOME CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGE. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS. "

I think I'll stay indoors.
