Little Things

Hill Top, where Beatrix Potter lived before she got married, was one of our destinations today. It has been preserved like it was when she lived there, which is an interesting insight into what life might have been like. There were cabinets containing some of her things and this collection of miniature jugs and mugs, etc, caught my eye as I have a few of my own somewhere!

Earlier in the day we popped into Keswick for lunch, and met up with the leaders and young people at this year's SU Creative Arts holiday. We didn't go this year - for the first time since I began this journal! - but it was a joy to see some familiar faces, even if briefly.
