Eilean nan Cabar . . .

. . . in Loch nan Uamh.  It was a beautiful day, overcast but the cloud was high and we found a walk near Druimindarroch which ended at a "Stoney Beach".  It was very stoney, not merely pebbles, but there was a family of Ringed Plovers, two adults and four chicks, roaming the foreshore calling to each other.  Another adult tried to muscle in but he (assumption) was chased away by mum or dad.

A chap was wind-surfing despite the low wind, and the scene was idyllic.  Remember that this was the west coast of Scotland!

We're off to Loch Linnhe tomorrow, near Port Appin, but we'll have to come back to this lovely place – before too long.

The Extras are of some flowers outside a cave (Prince Charlie's Cave?) – there must have been an accident there; and a small piece of china from the sea.
