Cactus Flower

Although I have been to the glasshouses in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens many times I don't remember ever seeing a cactus plant in flower. 

Today the very prickly Ferocactus Herrerae had one sunny yellow flower just asking for 5 minutes of blip fame.

A very warm, sticky day ..... my pal came down this evening and brought me a single nougat ..... very yummy and very messy!
