the big latch on

The Usual Place is a cafe which supports breastfeeding mums so we were pleased to host an event today - Global Big Latch On. Over three days, similar events are happening all over the world - last year 60,000 people took part in 28 countries. almost 20 mothers fed their babies at the same time and a lovely peaceful hush settled over half of the cafe. In the other half, customers continued to enjoy their morning coffee and breakfast rolls as usual. The kitchen staff had baked these special buns :-)
